"A good anchor"

Psychologist Isabel Soares about the re-mind

The Re-mind is a good anchor when learning new behavior or new skills. It just gives you a boost, a little impulse. The Re-mind is extremely effective for that purpose.

It is especially effective at the beginning of treatment. If the new behavior has not yet been automated. Over time, the novelty of the Re-mind wears off and it works less well. Then I advise people to put it away for a while and use it again later.

I treat many people with burnout, stress or anxiety. If the Re-mind vibrates, they should stand still, even if only for a few seconds. Then they have to stop running, make contact with themselves for a moment or change their posture. It's about a mini breather.

The Re-mind only works if people are motivated to change something. Basically, they must have that motivation and discipline. You have to be ready to really do something about your complaints. Then the Re-mind is a very easy and refreshing device. You don't have to actively do anything yourself.

As therapists, we are always looking for tools for our treatments and the Re-mind fits in perfectly.
