“Improving the subconscious with a subtle stimulus”

Physiotherapist Jos de Koning about the re-mind

“In my practice, located in the heart of Amsterdam, I work daily with clients who have high demands on their health and mobility. One of the tools I use more and more often is the Re-mind. I use the device as a support tool to make my patients more aware of their posture and movement during daily life.

What I notice is that many people in my practice are not always aware of their posture, especially those who do a lot of sedentary work. Even though we discuss the correct posture extensively and do exercises, in their own environment they often fall back into old habits. The Re-mind helps them to break this pattern by regularly giving a subtle vibration. This gives direct feedback without them having to think about their posture all the time. It is a kind of wake-up call for their subconscious.

The beauty of the Re-mind is that it doesn’t rely on an app or complicated settings. My clients appreciate the simplicity. They don’t have to ignore notifications or dive into an app – all they feel is a vibration, and that’s just enough to make them stop and think about their posture.

I see great benefits, especially in clients with chronic complaints, such as back or neck pain. They have often been working on their recovery for a long time and have tried multiple therapy methods. The Re-mind offers them an accessible but effective way to actively work on their posture, without it costing them extra time or taking them out of their work rhythm.

I see it as an extension of my therapy: during our sessions we set the foundation together, and at home the Re-mind ensures that they do not fall back into old patterns. It is a small investment that ultimately has a big impact on the recovery process and the awareness of my clients.”
