"I can not live without!"

As a skin and edema therapist, Angelique Oudejans (39) has a profession that requires her to bend over a lot, resulting in lower back pain. Thanks to exercise therapy, she knows what to pay attention to - and the re-mind helps her to really maintain that.

Angelique has had lower back pain for a few years that radiates to both legs. “I couldn't figure out the cause myself,” she says. “I have been to several physiotherapists, but unfortunately the effect of the treatments was minimal and my complaints did not disappear.” The GP eventually referred her to exercise therapist Cesar Jelle Jacobs. After an intake, extensive anamnesis and physical examination, it turned out that her complaints come from the SI joint, i.e. at the bottom of the spine. Angelique: “As a skin therapist, I usually perform my treatments standing or sitting, which is very stressful for this joint.”

Fixed spot

Jelle received trigger point therapy in combination with dry needling. “And he gave me new exercises to improve my posture.” When Angelique knew what to pay attention to, Jelle also came up with the re-mind. “I have been using this little device for a few weeks now and it has now found a permanent place in my bra. The re-mind emits a clear, vibrating signal and every time it vibrates, I can immediately correct my posture and sit up straight. Unlearning my incorrect posture was not done in an afternoon, but this device is very helpful. I can not live without!"
