This re-mind helps you improve your posture with the Habit Reversal Training method. Use the re-mind for at least 6 hours a day, then you will clearly notice the difference after 1 – 2 weeks!

However, realize that it has taken you years to (unconsciously) learn your wrong attitude. It really takes a while to unlearn it completely.

Instruction

Step 1

Briefly press the button to turn the re-mind on (vibrates once) or off (vibrates twice).

Step 2

Put the re-mind in your pocket, use a wristband or put it on the table.

Step 3

Be aware of your posture. Sit relaxed upright and roll your shoulders slightly back. Your head held high

Learning curve

The re-mind is standard on a learning curve where you are initially reminded twice an hour to adjust your posture. For about 2 weeks the intensity increases up to 6 times per hour. This will train your muscles and help you get used to your new, better posture.

The re-mind then remains at 6 times per hour for a number of weeks automate. He then slowly decreases to 3 times per hour for maintenance. 

Choose your own program

You can also set the interval yourself if you don't want to use the built-in learning curve.

The programs:

1. Intensive (5 min) 
2. Frequent (10 min)
3. Regularly (15 min)
4. Normal (20 min)
5. Support (30 min) 
6. Learning curve

This is how you choose a program

Step 1

Hold the button long (more than 5 seconds) until the re-mind vibrates.

Step 2

Select a program: for example, press 4 times for the “Normal” program.

Step 3

The re-mind now vibrates this program. (so 4 times for “Normal”)

Set vibration time 

If you want the re-mind to vibrate longer so you can feel it better, hold the button long pressed until it vibrates. Then press long press the button again until it vibrates again. 

(repeat this procedure to make the re-mind vibrate briefly again).

Tip 1:
It also helps to wear the re-mind in a different place from time to time: Many people sometimes put it in their sock, ladies in their bra, and you can also wear it in the special wrist strap.

Tip 2:
If you put the re-mind on your desk, it spins around when it goes off. So you can be reminded too! 

Automatic off after 16 hours

You can simply switch off the re-mind after the end of use by pressing the button once (the re-mind then vibrates 2x). If you forget, the re-mind will automatically switch itself off after about 16 hours. This is to save battery life. 

The learning programme simply continues even if you turn off the re-mind. So no need to worry about this!

Replace battery 

The battery lasts 3 months with daily use. If you feel that the re-mind vibrates less strongly, replace the battery (loosen the lid of the re-mind with a skewer, replace the battery and click it closed again). 

The battery type is a CR2032 button cell and is available at a drugstore or supermarket.
